Cut-offs, cowboy boots and your favorite sunnies -- just a few of the things you need to start enjoying festival season. What was once a country music festival here and there has become an international sensation with over 100 festivals focused on country music from now through September.

Whether you are planning a road trip or just looking for a weekend getaway, there are plenty of country music festivals crooning your name.

Country Summer 
Santa Rosa, California, June 3-5
Lady Antebellum, Chase Rice and Old Dominion and over 10 other bands will take the stage at Northern California’s largest country music festival. Located at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, concert goers are right around the corner from some of California's best vineyards.

CMA Music Festival
Nashville, Tennessee, June 9-12
For country fans, this is the mecca of country music festivals. With stages, free concerts all over Nashville and pop-up performances up and down Broadway, the opportunities to witness country greats up close and personal is likely in Music City.

Kicker Country Stampede
Manhattan, Kansas, June 23-26
Not only will you be able to witness Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley and Cassadee Pope live in concert, but attendees will also experience a live songwriters contest. The winning songwriter and their song will take the mainstage and wow the crowd with the next big country hit.

Dauphin's Countryfest
Dauphin, Manitoba, June 30-July 3
Canada’s longest running country music festival is near the Riding Mountain National Park, with incredible views paired with memorable country performances. Lady Antebellum and Thomas Rhett co-headline and an all-star tribute to Merle Haggard are all in store for attendees.

Cavendish Music Festival
Prince Edward Island, Canada, July 8-10
The largest multi-day outdoor festival in Atlantic Canada promises country music to what was once a cow pasture in Canada. There is no shortage of country stars at this festival with Kenny Chesney, Band Perry and Blake Shelton taking the stage as well as local talents sure to be mainstays.

Windy City Smokeout
Chicago, Illinois, July 15-17
Make sure to bring your appetite, selfie stick and cowboy boots to the Smokeout where attendees will enjoy over 20 acts, 15 bbq pitmasters and plenty of instagram-worthy moments. Enjoy the sounds of Maren Morris and Billy Currington with a side of southern comfort foods from star chefs Myron Mixon and Doug Psaltis with a one-of-a-kind cityscape skyline.

Country Thunder Wisconsin
Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, July 21-24
With four Country Thunder locations, the Twin Lakes festival boasts a past 'ACM Festival of the Year' award for good reason. Camping and country music with superstars including Florida Georgia Line, Chris Young and Jake Owen.

Oregon Jamboree
Sweet Home, Oregon, July 29-31
Carrie Underwood -- and her incredible legs -- are headlining this festival along with Toby Keith and Old Dominion. when you are not enjoying the star-studded lineup, take part in the scenic activities Sweet Home has to offer including camping, hiking and water recreation.

Boots & Hearts Festival
Oro-Medonte, Ontario, August 4-7
Boots and Hearts Music Festival is Canada’s largest camping and country music festival with major headliners including Tim McGraw and Dierks Bentley. For all the night owls that are not ready to say 'goodnight' after the last act, there are late stages to keep the two-stepping going.

Pepsi Gulf Jam
Panama City Beach, Florida, September 2-4
