Nashville has been really warm lately, and it feels more like summer than spring these days! But today’s “cold front” (and by cold front, I mean it’s 57 degrees outside instead of the 85 degrees it has been in the past week) reminded me that we haven’t hit a heat wave in Music City just yet. So with this weather it’s the perfect time to break out a light-weight jacket or blazer to pair with your otherwise warm-weather ensemble.

I am obsessed with Smythe coats and jackets. The tailoring, the fabrics, and their modern take on the blazer are all perfectly chic. Their spring 2012 line has beautiful candy-colored pieces, as well as gorgeous prints and neutrals.

This linen blazer in “peony” features a navy tuxedo stripe on the side panels that is so fresh and cool! The cut is also super-flattering and cinches in just the right spot for a slim look. Locally, you can pick it up for $595 at H. Audrey boutique (owned by the gorgeous and talented Holly Williams!) Or you can buy it online at Bergdorf Goodman.

For a similar look without the higher price tag, I love this fitted jersey blazer in pink from H&M for $34.95. It can give you a bold, statement look from day to night!

If you prefer a more relaxed look, but still want to perk up your outfit with a lipstick pink, this blazer from J. Crew is a gorgeous pick! The fit is slim and sleek, but the herringbone fabric adds a relaxed vibe that is perfect for the weekend. It is available for $175, in stores and online.

Don’t be afraid to put a pop of pink into your spring wardrobe, womanistas!

Happy shopping!

Womanista!!! thanks for this posts! I HAD to HAVE a pink blazer after seeing your fashion trends. I found an adorable pink quarter length blazer at LOFT ann taylor, believe it or not! So it cured my craving since I was not close to an H&M. Maybe one day we will have one in Nashville!

    thank you!
