McDonald's is jumping on the latest food-fad bandwagon, adding a Sriracha Big Mac to its menu. The southeast Asian condiment has become more and more popular in the U.S. and the burger chain is one of many restaurants embracing the spicy sauce.
The fast food chain will be testing its new sandwich in 126 restaurants in Ohio. It will also offer the Sriracha Mac dipping sauce, which customers in San Diego, Seattle and Los Angeles may recognize from certain custom creations.
The addition of Sriracha isn't the only change coming to the Big Mac. The company recently announced the iconic menu item would be available in a mini and grand size temporarily in 2017.
