Janet Jackson gave birth to her first child with husband Wissam Al Mana on Tuesday, and the proud parents have received congratulations from many of Jackson's immediate family members, People reports.
The newborn, named Eissa Al Mana, is Jackson's first child, with her rep sharing that she and Al Mana are “thrilled” about the birth of their son. Fans have since been sharing their well-wishes, as well as members of Jackson's family, including her siblings LaToya and Jermaine, who posted their congratulations on social media.
“How exciting!” La Toya tweeted Tuesday along with a photo of an "It's A Boy!" balloon. “Jan and Wissam just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy!!! Congratulations!!!”
Jermaine shared an Instagram photo of a blue baseball with “It’s A Boy!” written in white letters, writing, “Congratulations to my baby sister Janet and Wissam! @janetjackson #muchlove #bigkiss #mynephew #jermainejackson."
Janet's father, Joe Jackson, used his website to offer his contratulations to his daughter.
“Making me a grandfather again!” he wrote. “Wishing you all the love and happiness a father could wish a daughter.”
Janet married Al Mana in 2012, and news of her pregnancy was first reported in May.
