School Bus Crashes With 22 Students on Board in Massachusetts

A school bus rolled over a guardrail on the highway Wednesday afternoon in Waltham, Mass., Boston Globe reports.

According to State Police, there were 22 students from Ephraim Curtis Middle School on board. They were all taken to hospitals, 10 with minor injuries and the other 12 were taken in for evaluations. The hospitals are Boston Children’s Hospital, Newton-Wellesley Hospital and St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.

The crash occurred around 1 p.m. on I-95 south of Route 20. Police say the bus rolled over on its side after a pickup truck hit it. 

The bus and pickup drivers were not injured, nor taken to the hospital. The pickup driver remained at the scene for questioning.
