Oh My Disney reports that Ariana Grande and John legend have been tapped to perform the film's title track for the sountrack, and the Internet is appropriately excited to hear the two stars take on the timeless track.
The song was originally sung by Angela Lansbury in her role as the voice of the character Mrs. Potts, and re-recorded for the 1991 film's original soundtrack by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson. The song, written by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, won an Academy Award, Golden Globe and Grammy Award.
Grande shared the news on Instagram Thursday, posting a photo of herself in a recording session along with a rose emoji.
Along with Legend and Grande's track, the film will also feature three new songs written by Menken and Tim Rice, who worked together on Aladdin.
Beauty and the Beast arrives in theaters on March 17, and the soundrack will be available on March 10.
