With the Academy Awards just days away, there is a lot of excitement in the air and a plethora of stories about the Oscars. From the most memorable moments to the most iconic photographs, Oscar week is a lavish celebration of fun.
But while there is much to celebrate in film, the celebration itself might not be leaving audiences and fans with a cutesy feeling — one that makes you literally, “aww.”

For seven years, Chicago native, Maggie Storino has been recreating iconic images from the Oscar ‘Best Picture’ nominees on her blog, “Don’t Call Me Oscar” with the help of her three young daughters, Sophia, 6, Sadie, 4, and Sloane, 1.
In keeping with the internet’s love of “cute kids doing cute things,” we are in love with this annual photo series. Storino says the family anticipates Oscar season like it’s any other holiday.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Storino says the family chooses noteworthy and iconic shots from the ‘Best Picture’ contenders to recreate. This will be the seventh year the family has participated in this fun photoshoot.
