First it was bra inserts, the silicone, and now....hardboiled eggs?
Beauty blogger Nadi (a.k.a., PopLuxe) discovered one more crazy way to blend your face makeup when he used the kitchen staple (shell off) to blend his foundation, apply eyeshadow and contour his face in a YouTube video posted earlier this month.
"Oh my gosh, this is actually working really, really well," he said. "This kind of feels like a really cold SiliSponge but it smells like sewage, like eggs, so that's a turnoff — but it's actually doing a pretty good job."
"I really like how cold this is," he added. "It's like super refreshing, too!"
Ultimately, the egg fell apart about halfway through his application, so he popped it in his mouth for a quick snack.
After seeing Nadi's video, blogger Esther Gbudje decided to try the hack for herself, sharing her results on Instagram.
The egg did give me the flawless look I was going for, and it doesn't absorb any product at all," she told Allure. "After each application, I cleaned the egg with wipes before applying another product on my face, so I would say it worked for me."
Tell us, Womanistas — would you try this?
EGG BLENDING SPONGE I have seen loads of beauty hacks using different things as blending sponge like 🍅, kitchen scourer, pads even condoms (I would have loved to try that but I would have to answer loads of questions from hubby lol) so I took it a notch by using a HARD BOILED EGG 🍳 Sienna had a filled day laughing so hard she said 'oh Mummy you are crazy and I love it' lol. Well anyway did it work YES it did, would I use it again hmmmm MAYBE . Would you try this hack? Yes or No. What you think? Let me know what other Instagram Beauty Hack you have tried and it actually worked for you. Do enjoy the video.
