After suffering a major calf injury on Dancing With the Stars last week while rehearsing with partner, Heather Morris, professional dancer, Maksim Chmerkovskiy took to social media on Saturday to share an update with fans.
And from the looks of it, it seems like one of our favorite dancers is on a toe-tapping road to recovery.
In a video shared to Instagram, Chmerkovskiy shares a clip while seeking recovery and rehabilitation for his calf muscle tear at the Seeds Orthopedics and Sports Medicine clinic is Ashtabula, Ohio.
Though Chmerkovskiy is smiling and dancing a little samba with slight strain on his foot, he admits he’s “getting there” and captions the clip, “Therapy day 3 post calf muscle tear, progress check.”
The 37-year-old hasn’t ruled out winning just yet, telling Good Morning America that his partner still has a good chance at taking home the Mirror Ball this season. Here’s hoping he recovers quickly!
