Erika Jayne doesn't care if you think she's too sexy for the ballroom.
The Dancing With the Stars contestant appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Monday with partner Gleb Savchenko, and while there, addressed the fact that she is occasionally referred to as "too sexy" by the judges on the ABC reality competition.
"I think we, as women, are held to a little bit of a different standard," the singer explained.
"I don't think you should stop being yourself at all," she added. "I'm Erika Jayne in the ballroom, and there ya go."
"I think it's more confident and sexy," added Savchenko. "When it's confidence with sexy, sometimes it can be..."
"A little off-putting," Jayne interjected.
DeGeneres agreed, noting, "Those two things scare people. I think people are intimidated by women who are confident."
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also noted that she thinks her fans appreciate that she is an authentic person in any situation.
"I'm just myself," she said. "I think when you feel comfortable in your own skin people recognize that."
