You might recall how last summer, the internet went completely bananas for a brightly hued Starbucks drink simply called, “The Pink Drink.”

The images of the refreshing beverage popped up just about everywhere, pushing us to think outside the Seattle-company’s standard menu and dive deep into the secret world of drinks that feel like it comes with a top-secret handshake and wink.

After much popularity, Starbucks announced this week that the Pink Drink will officially join Starbucks’ year-round beverage menu and be available for customers at participating stores across the U.S. and on Mobile Order and Pay. Cue the happy tears!

If you’ve been living under a coffee bean, the Starbucks Pink Drink is a “light and refreshing beverage that features the sweet flavors of Strawberry Acai Refreshers with accents of passion fruit and acai,” and combined with Coconut milk, topped with a scoop of strawberries.

In a press release from Starbucks, vice president of U.S. Retail Beverages, Vivienne Long said with the warmer spring months ahead, it’s the perfect time to formally introduce the delicious drink.

“This refreshing drink is a celebration of our customers’ and baristas’ creativity and is just one of the 170,000 ways we craft beverages to meet each person’s unique taste preferences,” she said.

It has enjoyed much fandom online as Pink Drink lovers continue to share photos on social media channels using #pinkdrink.

Customers can ask their barista to customize any Starbucks beverage by using a variety of milk selections, combination of syrups, coffee or espresso options and toppings.
