An Idaho teen vanished after his prom over the weekend, leaving behind a tuxedo jacket, shoe and broken cell phone, KREM reports.
Kristian Perez attended the Orofino High School prom on Friday night and checked out at 9:30. He hasn't been seen since, according to his family.
Perez was driven to the event by a relative, and investigators found his tuxedo jacket, one shoe, and broken cellular phone in proximity to the vehicle.
A canine tracking team indicated that the 17-year-old may have walked a short distance from the National Guard Armory, where the prom was held, to a nearby parking lot where he may have gotten into a car.
"I think he's around," the Orofino High School principal said on Monday, adding that Perez is a good, fairly quiet kid.
Anyone with information relating to Perez's disappearance is asked to contact the Orofino Police Department at 208-476-5551.
