The Nashville Predators beat the Chicago Blackhawks Thursday night to sweep the series in the first round of the NHL playoffs, and they had a very special guest on hand to sing the national anthem.
Country superstar Luke Bryan did the honors, treating fans to a stellar performance ahead of an equally stellar matchup.
Bryan previously sang the anthem at this year's Super Bowl, so it's safe to say he's a pro by now.
Carrie Underwood, whose husband is Predators captain Mike Fisher, surprised fans with the anthem at Monday night's game, and the songstress congratulated Bryan on his performance on Twitter.
"Awesome job on the anthem, @LukeBryanOnline!!!" she wrote. "Thanks for revving our boys up for the game!"
Bryan's performance clearly got the job done — the Predators crushed the Blackhawks 4-1.
