Mackenna Newman's mom, Marci, is currently battling thyroid cancer, and recently had to be isolated during her radiation treatment.
To keep Marci company, Newman's dad, Jon, set up shop outside her room to be by her side, cracking the door open to keep her company.
On April 14, the 17-year-old shared a photo of her dad's thoughtful gesture on Twitter, and it might be the sweetest thing you'll see all day.
"My mom has to stay in her room in isolation for her cancer radiation so my dad set up a desk at her door to keep her company and I'm crying," she wrote next to a photo of Jon set up outside Marci's room.
"I just thought it was sweet because they are so in love," Newman told BuzzFeed News, adding that her dad was outside of her mom's room "the entire time."
Naturally, the Internet had a lot of feelings about the gesture, and Newman's tweet has since been liked over 11,000 times.
"The amount of love I've received is crazy and I didn't expect any of it, but I'm so grateful," the teen said, with the family adding that Jon's supportive move is nothing new.
"Jon goes to every doctor's appointment, every blood test, every surgery, every radiation," Marci shared. "And, as you can see, if he can't be by my side he is as close as he can get!"
