ESPN host Peter Burns and his wife, Lauren, are currently expecting their first child, and the parents-to-be learned the sex of their baby in a seriously gorgeous setting recently at the golf course in Pebble Beach, California.
Burns posted a clip of the moment on Twitter, writing, "The biggest shot of my life."
In the video, Lauren stands to the side as Burns takes a swing, hitting the ball to reveal a cloud of pink smoke, with the couple learning that they're having a girl and Lauren excitedly jumping into her husband's arms.
Lauren donned a blue shirt for the moment, as she thought they were having a boy, but it turns out Burns' pink shirt was the winner.
Burns, who golfed in college, told TODAY that he told Lauren if she ever wanted to do a gender reveal, he "wanted [it] to be a golf one."
The couple's daughter is due in October, and Burns shared that her arrival will be a major moment for multiple reasons.
"I'm adopted," he said, "so my daughter will be the first blood relative I will have ever met."
