Carrie Underwood Reunites With Former 'American Idol' Judge Paula Abdul

Carrie Underwood attended the New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men and Paula Abdul concert in Nashville Wednesday night, and the country superstar made sure to reunite with the former American Idol judge backstage.

Abdul, who served as a judge on the hit show when Underwood was a contestant, shared a snap of the pair on Instagram, writing that she was "happy to reunite with the amazingly talented and equally beautiful @carrieunderwood."

"So proud of your journey," she added.

Underwood later shared the snap on her own account, writing, "Well, look who I ran into backstage at #TheTotalPackage Tour! So cool to watch her do her thing!"

The country singer also shared a clip of New Kids on the Block's performance, writing, "Still got it!" CMT shares that Underwood even joined the band onstage during their set to sing "Happy Birthday" to Jordan Knight and Donny Wood.

She later posed with the band for a photo.
