Teavana Releases New Tropical Summer Teas — and You Can Score One for Free

| Trending News

With the current temperatures taking much of the country on a rollercoaster ride, the month of May is one of the greatest for soaking in the sun, readjusting to life outdoors and of course, making the switch from hot beverages to those of the refreshing iced variety.

While Starbucks has been known to amp up summer drinks with its cold concoctions every season, Teavana is now making the jump by offering customers a free 2-ounce iced tea during their version of the “Happy Hour” from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 26.

In a press release from Starbucks, customers can choose from Teavana’s three, signature summer blends — the “Beach Bellini,” “Strawberry Daiquiri” or “Piña Colada.”

Michelle Chin, vice president of Teavana’s Category and Integrated Marketing, said the company is excited to kickstart summer with their latest offering.

“We are thrilled to invite our customers to enjoy refreshing and inventive Teavana iced tea blends that have been specially crafted to transport your taste buds and inspire care-free, summer moments,” she said.

If you’re wondering how can you get one, well it’s super easy! All you have to do is show them the Instagram image from the official Teavana account on your smartphone or use the code FriYAY to redeem the free iced tea, and voila, you have delicious, ice-cold bliss that will transport you to the tropics in every sip.

Of course, after May 26, Teavana will keep the “Fri-YAY” celebrations going by offering customers a BOGO deal that has you buying one and getting the other free every Friday, through August 11 during the same hours, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Whether you decide to bring a friend along or want the tropical inspired iced teas all to yourself, go ahead — we won’t judge. What will you try?
