Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline is opening up about co-parenting as well as their son's musical talent.
Federline, 39, told Bravo that while having six children can be chaotic, he's also used to not having all of his kids with him at one time. Especially for Father's Day.
"I'm used to not having all my kids, and this is gonna be one of those years. When you are co-parenting, you have to be willing to give up some of the things you would really like to do," Federline said. "My boys will be gone, their mom's off in Asia on tour."
Federline, who shares two boys, Sean Preston, 11, and Jayden James, 10, with Spears, two daughters with current wife Victoria Prince, and both a son and daughter with ex-fiancée, Shar Jackson, says that co-parenting gets easier over time.
"You fall into your routine and it's really easy now. It wasn't always easy, but it's a lot easier now."
He also reveals that his sons with Spears are interested in music, particularly Sean Preston.
"Preston kind of knows how to DJ. He wants to learn more," Federline said. "I got him Ableton [music production app] on his laptop, so he kind of messes with that."
Just don't expect Federline, whose own 2006 album Playing With Fire didn't exactly burn up the charts, to push his son into music.
"I want to make sure it's something he really wants to do."
