Caitlyn Jenner Slammed After Making Joke About Congressional Baseball Game Shooting

Caitlyn Jenner is in hot water after making a joke about the recent congressional baseball game shooting, the Washington Examiner reports.

The shooting, which took place at a GOP baseball practice on June 14, occurred when a gunman opened fire and injured multiple people, including House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, who is in critical condition. The gunman was shot dead by police.

Jenner was speaking at the College Republican National Committee when she made her remarks regarding the shooting, saying, "Nobody deserves what happened out there. There's no justification."

"There are crazy people. We have to minimize that type of stuff," she continued.

"As far as the people that were injured, it's an absolute shame. You just want them to recover. Fortunately, the guy was a really bad shot… liberals can't even shoot straight."

Jenner was likely referring to the fact that gunman James Hodgkinson had reportedly volunteered on the presidential campaign of Sen. Bernie Sanders last year, among other liberal allegiances he reportedly displayed.

Since the comment, Jenner has been slammed for her views on the internet, with many noting that as a transgender woman, liberals are the very people who campaigned for the acceptance Jenner has been able to experience.
