Back in May, Abby Lee Miller was sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison for bankruptcy fraud, and in March, the 51-year-old had announced her resignation from her TV show, Dance Moms. She has since been replaced by Cheryl Burke, and Miller's last episode of the show is set to air when the new season premieres in the fall.
In a sneak peek of Miller's last appearance on the Lifetime show, shared by People, Miller says one final goodbye to the dancers she has mentored, as well as their mothers, with the famed teacher getting emotional during the clip.
“I created livelihoods for so many children,” Miller says. “It was all going to end someday.”
The dramatic clip reveals continued tension with the moms, an appearance by celebrity choreographer Laurieann Gibson and the inclusion of Burke, who arrives to instruct the girls in Miller's place.
“I don’t need one of them,” Miller says. “I don’t need any of them.”
Towards the end of the clip, Miller breaks down in tears.
“I regret it. I regret it,” she says. “Oh, I regret everything.”
Dance Moms premieres Aug. 1 at 9 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
