NBC Renews 'World of Dance' for Season Two

World of Dance has been renewed for a second season, NBC announced on Thursday and following the announcement, judge Derek Hough took to Instagram to share the news.

The former Dancing with the Stars pro shared a clip of himself with fellow judges Jennifer Lopez and Ne-Yo clapping excitedly with “season 2” written over the image.

“YEP!!!! SEASON 2 BABY!!!! It’s happening!! So incredibly thankful and happy to see the amazing art form that is Dance succeed!” Hough captioned the image and tagged his fellow judges and the show’s host, Jenna Dewan Tatum.

Lopez, who not only stars in the show but is an executive producer as well, also released a statement celebrating the renewal announcement.

“I am so proud to not only star, but produce a show that is so close to my heart,” Lopez said. “I am so happy that World of Dance has resonated with audiences and we are able to put dancers on the pedestal they deserve. I cannot wait to continue this journey and my partnership with NBC.”

World of Dance airs Tuesdays on NBC.
