Move Targets: Hip Flexors and Quads


Step 1: Sit on the floor with your legs extended in front of you, feet flexed and hands at your side. Roll the shoulders back and down and lift your chest. You want to maintain a straight spine – no leaning back as you begin to move the leg!


Step 2: Pick one leg and lift it about 1 foot off the floor keeping the foot flexed. Do not lean backward, instead lift the leg a few inches.


Step 3: Send the leg out to the side, but not too far that you get off balance. Bring the leg back to the front, then lower it.
