Move Targets: Adductors/Thighs


Step 1: Come to the side of the barre, countertop or chair back, resting the closer hand on the surface. Lift the chest, drop your shoulders and tuck in the pelvis. Get into first position, which will have your toes pointing outward and your heels together.


Step 2: With control and purpose, point the outside foot and forcefully kick it out, like you're striking a target in front of you. Keep the leg rotated toward the outside. As the toes reach the farthest point, keep the leg lifted, then draw it back to the starting position.
