Move Targets: Abductors/Thighs


Step 1: Turn your body to the side of the barre, countertop or chair back, resting your inside hand on it. Begin in first position with your heels together and toes pointing outward in a "V." Keep the pelvis tucked forward.


Step 2: Point the outside foot as you kick it forward as high as you can with good control. The goal is to have only the leg move, so if your torso is rocking to accommodate the height of your kick, go lower. This can be repeated to the side and back as well.
