Move Targets: Abductors/Thighs
Step 1: Come to the side of your barre, countertop or chair back with the inside hand resting on the surface. Start in first position with the heels together and toes pointing outward, pelvis tucked toward the front. Kick the leg forward, keeping it rotated to the outside and slightly bend it.
Step 2: With the outside arm out to eh side or above the head, lift the leg as high as you can without rocking the upper body. Tap it to the floor and lift again, or keep it lifted and pulse upward for several quick reps. Make sure the inner thighs and glutes are doing the work and there is no tension in the lower back.
