Move Targets: Adductors/Thighs


Step 1: Using a barre, back of a chair or countertop, turn your body to the side and rest your closest hand on the surface. Your chest is lifted, shoulders dropped and pelvis is tucked underneath the torso. Place your feet in first position – toes out in a "V" shape with heels touching. Your other arm can be off to the side to help counterbalance. 


Step 2: Take the outside leg, pointing the toes, and draw a straight line out in front of you. Your leg will remain slightly rotated toward the outside (knee cap pointing toward the outside). Touch the toe to the floor, then return it back to your starting position. Stay tall so the knees do not bend.
