The comedian posted a photo on Instagram sharing her experience with a profractional laser procedure.
"Before and after. #profractional laser. Its f------ awesome and no one is paying me to tell you about it. Bam!," the 42-year-old captioned the image.
In the left photo, which appears to have been taken right after the treatment, her face is red and sprinkled with dark spots from the laser.
In the photo on the right, Handler's skin has healed from the treatment and is glowing. Her skin tone has evened out and it even looks like the fine lines have disappeared.
"To answer questions: I did it on a Thursday and filmed my show on Monday," Handler wrote.
Profractional lasers create smoother, clearer skin by resurfacing it from the inside out and stimulating growth of new collagen. They even out your skin tone, smooth fine lines and can even treat acne scars, wrinkles and sun damage.
As you can see, mild swelling and redness occurs after the treatment, followed by a week of mild peeling and flaking.
So are Handler's results convincing you to make an appointment for yourself? According to 26 ratings from RealSelf.com, the average cost of a treatment like Handler's will run you $1,100.
