The ASCAP Country Music Awards were held in Nashville on Monday night at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and it was a blast! I was lucky enough to work with two of the best “Glam Squad” pros in the business, Earl Cox of Trumps Salon and Mary Beth Felts. Earl and Mary Beth have been making Nashville Starlets look gorgeous for more than 20 years and they are seriously talented! Here are a few pics of my road to glam for the ASCAP Awards!
Earl and I chatting about what I want to do with my hair – the pre-primp, makeup-free look (I’ll call it “Fresh Faced” rather than “In need of makeup!”) is what I usually look like!
Once Earl got my hair extensions (my weave!) clipped in, he flat ironed it silky smooth and Mary Beth got started on my makeup. She used a highlighter under my eyes to conceal those dark circles

Mary Beth putting the finishing touches on My Makeup. We went with this look for inspiration, but decided to make it a little more dramatic and use plum tones rather than lilac.

Here is a closeup of my eye makeup. For my liner, Mary Beth used a clear gel, and mixed it with a rich purple shadow to create a liquid line on my top lids. She also used the Anastasia Shimmer Highlighter pencil on my brow bone to create a pretty glow.

My final look! I wanted to rock a fun, modern fall look. (and PS – I really, really wish all of that was my real hair!!)

Thanks! I am obsessed with those boots
They are SUUUUPER High!
Very glam and very beautiful! However…you’re prettiest in that “fresh face,” IMO!
Well thank you
